The boat trip |

|
Guests will board a local motorboat
at vessel's gangway and sail pass the harbour of Ponza designed by Vanvitelli
during the borbon period, proceeding south to the Pilato's grottos where
Romans farmed eels (murene). |

|
The boat ride continues to “Punta
della Guardia” through the natural arch of topazio, past the merging
rocks “della Madonna”, the “Ulysses grotto”, the
“ant rocks”, the ancient roman port and onwards to “chiaia
di luna beach” where passengers will make a wet landing and the sailing
part of the tour ends. |

A short walk through the roman tunnel
will follow. Here guests will board local coaches and sightseeing of the
island overland begins. |

|
|
Short stops in various panoramic
spots will be made, at “pizzo dell'aquila”, “le forna”,
where local “obsidian” was transformed in caolino (precious
materials for porcelain and cosmetiques), and wherever clients will be inspired
by the scenery. |

On completion of the tour guests
will be driven back to the port, accompanied by their guide.
