"porta soprana", the city walls' main xiith. century gate. The tour proceeds by bus throgh via fieschi; carignano; with the basilica of santa maria assunta; the neo-classical building galleria hospital, corvetto square and fontane marose square. |

| Thereoff stop at the magnifiencet
renaissance street, from where a walking tour will be performed, passing
along via garibaldi, with the palaces built and decorated in the xvth. century
for the noble genoese families, spinola, doria & tursi. The walking tour will also show the romantic-gothic "church of sanmatteo" and the famous romanic-gothic "cathedral of san lorenzo", located in the historical centre. |

| The group will rejoin the bus
in the city centre, via xx settembre. the last part of the tour, including
a short stop at "castelletto", boasting the best view fo the city. |

| During the journey back to the harbour,
the bus will pass through piazza nunziata, bia balbi, piazza acquaverde,
with its monument dedicated to c. columbus, and the wonderful "villa
andrea doria", built in the xvith. century for the famous admiral after
which it has taken its name, and stil surrounded by a large park rich in
sculptures and fountains. |

| Once in camogli guests will
disembark the coaches and a guided walking tour will be conducted, including
an inside visit of the lovely basilica of santa maria assunta. admire the character of this charming fishing village in the so-called paradise gulf, with its gaily-painted houses on the promenade, the panorama of the western coastline with the city of genova in the distance. |

| After some free time, guests will
board local motorboats for the ride to san fruttuoso, along the panoramic
coast. During the boat trip a traditional genoese bread baked with olive oil and salt will be served with local white wine aperitif. |

| Upon arrival guests will be captured
by the natural beauty of this tiny inlet only accesible by boat or on foot.
here the group will be shown around the benedictine monastery, the local
church, and the silent beach. T he tour thereoff proceeds to renowned portofino. |

| During ancient roman times denominated
"portus delphini", portofino was a simple fishing village with
origins in the distant past; its natural setting and surroundings giving
it a somewhat natural and unique spendour. Today the village is renowned worldwide and became one of the most exclusive summer resorts in the mediterranean, frequented by international elite. |

| Upon arrival guests will be split
into two groups, as follows: - group a will have free time for an independent lunch and shopping. - group b guests will be shuttled up to the splendido hotel for a delux lunch. |

| After lunch, groups b, will have
free time for shopping, and at the end of the free time all three groups
will meet up at the pier area, from where they will be transfered to santa
margherita by motorboat, where the coaches will be ready to drive guests
back to genoa, accompanied by their guide. |
