The boat trip
Guests will board a local motorboat at vessel's gangway and sail pass the harbour of Ponza designed by Vanvitelli during the borbon period,
proceeding south to the Pilato's grottos where Romans farmed eels (murene).
The boat ride continues to "Punta della Guardia" through the natural arch of topazio, past the merging rocks "della Madonna", the "Ulysses grotto", the "ant rocks", the ancient roman port and onwards to "chiaia di luna beach" where passengers will make a wet landing and the sailing part of the tour ends.
The roman tunnel
A short walk through the roman tunnel will follow. Here guests will board local coaches and sightseeing of the island overland begins.
Short stops in various panoramic spots will be made, at "pizzo dell'aquila", "le forna", where local "obsidian" was transformed in caolino (precious materials for porcelain and cosmetiques), and wherever clients will be inspired by the scenery.
On completion of the tour guests will be driven back to the port, accompanied by their guide.
