Dr. Menthe became famous for his autobiographic Story of San Michele (1929) in which he describes his long journeys that

The villa is now a museum of his antiques and furnishings.

The southern coast of Capri
Passengers will board a local motor boat at the ship's gangway, their guide will be on board to meet them,
and they will enjoy the ride to the world famous Grotta Azzurra'.
During the ride they will be able to enjoy the beautiful sceneries that can be seen along the northern coast of the island, accompanied by their valuable guide, who will introduce the history of Capri.
Blue grotto
Upon arrival at the entrance of the Grotto, guests will be transferred in to small rowing boats that will take them into the Blue Cavern.
Once inside, there is the most extraordinary turquoise water. The sun's rays light the grotto from an opening under the water, tinting the 'cavern' in an exquisite cerulean colour that has made it one of Italy's best known natural sights.
On completion of the visit inside the Grotta Azzurra, passengers will be re-boarding the motorboat that will take them back to the ship, or to the landing pier, if they wish to explore the rest of the island independently.
