You will enjoy today a fascinating
new experience through the approach of a typical mozzarella factory which
will enable you to discover the art, so refined in its simplicity, of transforming
milk into a tasty food, one of the symbols of Italy abroad.

Your tour will start by boarding
your coach and driving to the Vannulo estate, a rich and fertile land where
you can still admire buffaloes whose milk is used for cheese and yogurt
production by Antonio Palmieri and his family since 1988. A walk through
the estate will enable you to see the buffaloes, often immersed in the water,
from close to. The walk will continue with a visit to the stables and the
modern milking plant. In the dairy, of course, you can watch the Mozzarella
being made and then go on to taste it. |

Then reboard your coach to return
to Agropoli, firstly enjoying a panoramic tour from above of the Plain of
Sele also admiring the classic beauty of Paestum's walls and temples from
outisde. |

between remaining in town to browse around or returning on board the ship.

by the Greeks around 600 b.c. dedicated to Poseidon the god of the sea,
and was occupied by the Lucans, an Italic population, in 400 b.c. until
273 b.c. when it became a roman colony with the name of "Paestum". |

It's three temples and the famous
paintings in the local museum are the only example of Greek architecture
and arts we have in Italy, and preserved better than the Greek "Partenone".The
city was discovered under the marsh and the brushwood thanks to the king
of Naples "Charles of Borbon III" during the 17th century.
